Plain language, and accurate to how we actually operate.

What we collect, and why

Quote requests: name, phone, optional email, property location, county, project details. We use them for exactly one thing: confirming your request by phone and connecting you with a licensed evaluator. Your contact details are shared with one evaluator, only after you approve that firm by name. A declined request may be offered to one backup firm the same way. We never sell your information, put it in a marketing list, or share it with anyone else.

Listing claims and removal requests: the contact details you submit are used to verify and process the change, nothing else.

Directory listings: evaluator names, license numbers, and business contact details come from state licensing registries, which publish them as public records. Evaluators can claim or request removal of a listing.

Analytics

We run self-hosted, cookieless analytics (Umami) to count page views and form submissions. No advertising trackers, no third-party ad pixels.

Storage and retention

Form submissions are stored in our database and kept while the request or claim is active, plus normal bookkeeping records for anything that led to a paid transaction. Tell us to delete a request and we will, unless a bookkeeping record requires keeping a minimal trace.
